How to stay fit if you cannot exercise often

Running along the life with no time for ourselves is the story of every millennial. Finding time in our hectic schedules for fitness and health is a daunting job but with some easy hacks you can keep fit without hitting the gym too. Here’s how

Take advantage of free workout videos on the internet.  These routines gives you a lot of flexibility, as you can do them virtually anywhere, anytime without equipment or a gym. Some of them are full body workouts in 8-10 minutes. Now that’s some convenience!

Take the stairs as often as you can. Walk while you go grocery shopping. Do household chores like cooking and cleaning. Being active and on your feet really helps. It’s not only the workout sessions that make a difference but an active lifestyle goes a long way ahead. Make sure to have a walk after your meals to better digest them and avoid after meals energy slump.

Drink warm lemon water in the morning as soon as you wake up. This will kick start your metabolism and help you lose weight without you making any extra efforts. Additionally lemon is proven to flush out toxins and enrich your body with vitamin C.

Stretch as soon as you wake up. This will help keep your muscles flexible, strong, and healthy. It will also energize you and make you less lethargic during the day. Stretching is also a form of exercise that warms up your body and cuts body fat.

Eat light meals during the evening. Consuming high amounts of carbs and fats during the later hours of the day is one of the major reasons for weight gain. Try to consume light meals during evening and night to remain fit and healthy.

Stand while you can. Standing burns more calories than sitting so stand in public transports and offer your seat to people who require it more than you do. Get up often from your desk and catch up with your colleagues in standing up meetings as compared to the traditional sitting ones.
